Specialties for Fieldwork

Clinical Applications

For students pursuing work in clinical ABA, supervision may include skill-building in assessment, treatment planning, behavior reduction, caregiver training, documentation, ethical decision-making, and collaboration with families and other professionals. This area is ideal for students who want to build strong clinical foundations while preparing for competent, compassionate practice with autistic individuals and their families.

Organizational Behavior Management (OBM)

For students interested in OBM, supervision may focus on applying behavior analytic principles to workplace performance, staff training, systems improvement, leadership, feedback, and organizational outcomes. This area is a great fit for students who want to explore how ABA can support teams, businesses, and workplace systems beyond traditional clinical settings.

Fieldwork Types

Bailey Behavior Consulting is proud to offer multiple types of supervision applications individualized to each student's needs.

Traditional Fieldwork Supervision

Designed for students completing standard supervised fieldwork hours, this option focuses on steady skill development with consistent supervision each month. It’s a good fit for those balancing work and fieldwork while building a strong, well-rounded foundation in applied behavior analysis.

Concentrated Fieldwork Supervision

This track offers a higher level of supervision and support, allowing students to accrue hours more quickly while receiving more frequent feedback and direct guidance. Ideal for those looking for a more immersive experience and accelerated growth in their clinical and professional skills.

Group Supervision

Group supervision is offered periodically based on interest and availability. These sessions provide a collaborative space for discussion, case review, and applied problem-solving with peers, supporting exposure to diverse scenarios and strengthening clinical reasoning skills.
